The simple answer is yes. Through Eventifier's Attendee Hub, you can give attendees the option to upgrade to a higher tier admission item to access additional event content on the Attendee Website. There are a few steps to making this happen:
- If you'd like, you can allow an item upgrade for your attendees who have not already selected the most expensive admission option. In addition, while your attendees are viewing the All Sessions page, they will see an "Upgrade" button. For simple usage, there will be a lock icon next to any sessions they do not have the availability to choose from with their current purchase. If an attendee selects a session they do not have access to, they'll see the "Upgrade" option.
- You'll want to determine whether your event meets the requirements. This is the best choice if you have multiple admission items with varying prices, registration type availability, and session offerings!
The best part about this option is that you can monetize your Attendee Hub and give your guests the chance of an upgrade!
The easiest way to get paid for the event is through Eventifier Payment Services, our internal gateway and merchant account. This will be set up for you within one or two business days. As you can see, this process is very fast. However, you can also choose from many other gateways compatible with Eventifier and obtain a merchant account through your bank. This process takes between 2 and 21 business days, depending on the bank. You simply submit your merchant account information and you will be linked to Eventifier.
Eventifier reminds you that you must have three elements in place to accept credit cards over the Internet:
- A payment gateway that links your website and your merchant account.
- A payment processor that verifies card details with the card issuing bank and authorizes funds.
- A merchant account that holds the money from online sales and after a timeout channels it to your merchant checking account.
Once you set up your account with Eventifier and complete the verification process, customers can use this system to successfully send you payment for purchases. However, it takes up to 3 business days for the transaction to be completed and the funds accessible to you. If the transaction takes place over a weekend or holiday, this can prolong the number of days it takes as those aren’t considered business days.
The speed of the access to the funds depends on the gateway you use to get money from Eventifier. Some of them are much faster than others. You can get the cash flow coming in all month long if you like, as long as new sales are generated. You can also opt to get payments monthly. If you set this up, earnings from a given month will be accessible to you the last week of the following month. For example, all earnings in April would be available to you the last week of May. Consider your cash flow needs and accounting method to decide which is best for you to set up.
